The history of the ERP-Service company has started from setting up a “Sharing Computing Centre” branch of the JSC “KazTransOil”, the main task of which up to now has been automation of technological and managerial processes, modernisation of telecommunication networks and development of information technologies. Following the successful introduction of an automated system of management on the base of solutions developed by the German company SAP AG in the JSC “KazTransOil”, it has been decided, in accordance with a resolution of the Coordination Council on introduction of ERP-systems in the JSC “NC”KazMunaiGas”, to expand the spheres of activities and to set up a consulting company to provide outsourcing of ERP-systems at the enterprises of the oil and gas sector of Kazakhstan.
Therefore on 16 March 2005 the «IT-Service” branch of the JSC «KazTransCom» has been created, a predecessor of the current “ERP Service”. The bulk of the branch’s personnel was recruited from the former staff of the “Sharing Computing Centre” branch of the JSC “KazTransOil”, who had an experience of introduction and maintenance of ERP-systems in such companies as JSC “Ispat-Karmet”, JSC “Zhairemsky GOK”, JSC “KazTransOIl”, JSC “Intergas Central Asia”. Some projects have been implemented on the base of the «IT-Service” branch of the JSC «KazTransCom» to introduce and maintain ERP-systems in such companies as JSC “KazTransOil”, JSC “KazMunaiGas”, JSC “Intergas Central Asia”, JSC “KazTransGas”, JSC “KazMunaiGas Exploration and Production”.
In August 2006 it was decided to set up the «ERP-Service «KazTransCom» LLP to secure the prestige, increased competitiveness and further economic growth of the JSC «KazTransCom».
Currently ERP-Service is one of the leading companies in the sector of information technologies in the Republic of Kazakhstan.
